Activities: Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), you will be personally greeted by our representative after you clear immigration and baggage claim. You will be escorted to a private vehicle for a direct transfer to your hotel in Arusha, a journey of approximately 55 kilometers (60-90 minutes). After check-in, the remainder of the day is at your leisure to relax. Your private safari guide will meet you in the evening for a comprehensive briefing on the safari ahead.

Day 02 :

Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Activities: After breakfast at 08:00, you will meet your guide and depart for Tarangire National Park. The 120-kilometer drive takes approximately 2.5 hours on a paved road. Upon entering the park, your safari begins. You will spend the afternoon on a game drive, focusing on the area around the Tarangire River, the park’s primary water source during the dry season. This area attracts vast numbers of elephants, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, and various antelope species. You will arrive at your lodge, located inside or just outside the park, in the late afternoon.

Day 03 :

Tarangire Game Drive and Transfer to Ngorongoro Highlands

Activities: You will embark on an early morning game drive at approximately 06:30 to observe wildlife during its most active period. This drive will explore a different sector of the park, potentially the Silale Swamp, known for its large pythons and abundant birdlife. After 3-4 hours, you will return to the lodge for a full breakfast and to check out. You will then drive out of Tarangire and ascend the Great Rift Valley escarpment towards the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. The 155-kilometer journey takes around 3.5 hours, arriving at your lodge on the crater rim in the afternoon.

The afternoon is free for you to relax by the pool or organize your luggage.

Luggage must be in soft-sided bags or duffels, as hard-shell suitcases cannot be accommodated in the small aircraft’s hold. We can arrange for excess luggage to be stored securely in our Arusha office if needed.
